Your photos and location stamps

Stamvio processes photos, videos, collage files, location stamps, saved area reports and settings on your Android device. We do not operate an account system or a server that receives your photo library. App-private records are excluded from Android cloud backup and device transfer. Removing the app removes its private records; copies you export or share are controlled by you and the receiving app.

Permissions and your choices

Camera permission is used for capture. Microphone permission is requested only if you enable sound for video. Foreground location permission provides current-location stamps and related tools; the app does not request background location permission. Without a location fix you may enter a manual point or save without location. The Android photo picker lets you choose specific images without granting access to your entire gallery. A visible stamp can reveal a place and time to anyone who sees the image: check it before sharing.

Google AdMob advertising

We use Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google User Messaging Platform for app start and bottom banner ads and consent choices. The SDK can collect and share IP-derived approximate location, device and account identifiers (including advertising ID and app set ID), product/ad interactions and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. Data is encrypted in transit. Stamvio does not attach photo files, text you type, or camera GPS coordinates to ad requests.

We request updated consent information before initializing or requesting ads. Where a privacy choices entry is required, Settings → Ad privacy choices lets you reopen the Google consent form. Ad availability and personalization depend on your choices and region. Android settings also let you reset or delete the advertising ID. Optional maps, addresses and public cameras

If you enable online OpenStreetMap tiles, requests identify the map tiles around the displayed point to the map provider. Address lookup uses your device Geocoder provider, which may process the queried coordinates over a network. Detailed globe imagery requests the visible area from NASA GIBS; the base globe image and place list are bundled. Public camera thumbnails and streams connect to the selected public provider and disclose your network address to it. YouTube cameras use the YouTube embedded player, which can process cookies, identifiers and viewing activity and show its own ads under Google Privacy Policy and YouTube terms. The public catalogue contains both still photos and live/video sources, and availability varies.

Manual camera URLs connect to the server you enter; avoid including private access credentials. Route and street-view buttons open an external maps service with the point you chose. If you use route voice input, an external speech recognition app or service may receive and process your voice under its own policy. External apps and websites have their own policies. Weather text is entered manually, not fetched from a weather service.

Sharing, retention and deletion

When you explicitly share or open an exported file, the chosen receiving app receives read access to that file. Delete saved media and reports from their history screens, remove saved camera addresses from the camera list, or remove the app to delete its private storage. We cannot remove copies already sent to another app. Google determines SDK data retention under its policies; contact Google for advertising data controls. Contact us with privacy requests without attaching sensitive photos or exact coordinates unless necessary. We do not sell your photo library.

Audience, website and changes

Stamvio is intended for general adult use and is not directed at children. Our support website uses no embedded advertising or analytics; the hosting provider may keep ordinary request and security logs. We update this page if data practices change and show the new effective date. Local privacy rights may vary by region; contact the publisher for requests.
