Tracely
Tracely · Handwriting Tracing — Privacy Policy · 시행일 / Effective 2026-10-10
3. 광고 (Google AdMob)
(Google Firebase)
1. What stays on your device
Tracely has no sign-up or account. The text you paste or import, your worksheets, handwriting, wordbook and settings are stored only in the app’s private storage on your device. Your text and handwriting never leave your device. The only data that leaves it is for the ads and the usage statistics and crash reports in sections 3 and 4, and that never includes your text, handwriting, words, titles or web addresses.
2. Internet use
The app uses the internet to fetch the text of a web page when you enter a link, and for the ads, usage statistics and crash reports described below. Web pages are requested directly from your device, not through a developer server.
3. Ads (Google AdMob)
The app shows Google AdMob ads: a banner at the bottom of the notebook list and settings screens, and a full-screen ad that may appear when you return from another app (app open ad). There are no ads on the writing practice screen. To deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud, Google may collect and use information such as the advertising ID, device and app information, and approximate location estimated from the IP address. Where consent is required (for example, in the European Economic Area), the app asks the first time it opens, and you can change your choice anytime in Settings › Privacy options. You can reset or delete the advertising ID in Android settings. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
4. Usage statistics and crash reports (Google Firebase)
Starting with version 1.0.1, the app uses Google Firebase Analytics (usage statistics) and Firebase Crashlytics (crash reports) to improve the app. It sends only fixed values: which screens you open, which tools you use (pen, eraser, playback, etc.), how a worksheet was created (text, web, wordbook, etc.), the script and length range of its text (for example Hangul, 11–100 characters), tutorial steps, and whether a web import succeeded. Along with these, the app version, device model and OS version, app instance ID and Firebase installation ID, and approximate location estimated from the IP address may be collected. If the app crashes, diagnostic information such as the crash location (stack trace) and device state is sent. For errors the app handles, such as a failed save or load, only the type of error is sent, not its message. Your text, handwriting, words and meanings, titles, file names and web addresses are never sent. Google processes and stores this data and may store it on servers outside your country. Usage statistics are deleted according to the Google Analytics retention setting (up to 14 months) and crash reports according to Crashlytics policy (90 days). See Privacy and Security in Firebase.
5. Listening
The listen button uses the Android text-to-speech engine installed on your device; that engine’s provider policy applies.
6. Sharing and pasting
The app only receives text you share to it or paste into it. It does not read your clipboard in the background.
7. Permissions
Internet (web links, ads, usage statistics and crash reports) and the advertising ID (ads). The app does not request camera, location or contacts permissions.
8. Retention and deletion
Data on your device stays until you delete it or uninstall the app. You can delete worksheets in the app, clear the app’s data, or uninstall it. For privacy requests, contact the email below.
9. Children
The app is not primarily directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect children’s personal information.
