1. 기기에 저장하는 정보
Notescape는 회원 가입이나 계정이 없고 클라우드 동기화도 없습니다. 손글씨, 그림, 노트에 넣은 사진·텍스트·웹 글, 태그, 설정은 사용자의 기기 안 앱 전용 공간에만 저장됩니다. 노트 내용은 개발자 서버로 전송하지 않습니다. 다만 기기에서 Android 자동 백업(Google 드라이브)을 켜 두었다면 노트 파일이 사용자의 Google 계정 백업에 포함될 수 있습니다. 기기 밖으로 나가는 정보는 아래 3·4항의 광고와 앱 사용 통계뿐이며, 여기에도 노트 내용은 들어가지 않습니다.
2. 변환 기능과 인터넷 사용
사진을 잉크로 바꾸기(사진의 색 영역을 고칠 수 있는 벡터 잉크로 변환), 텍스트를 잉크로 바꾸기(손글씨 글꼴로 글자 윤곽 생성), 손글씨를 텍스트로 바꾸기(Google ML Kit 손글씨·문자 인식)는 모두 기기 안에서 처리되며, 변환에 쓰인 사진·글·필기는 기기 밖으로 전송되지 않습니다. 손글씨 인식은 처음 쓸 때 언어별 인식 모델을 Google에서 내려받아야 하므로 인터넷이 필요합니다. 웹 글을 잉크로 바꿀 때는 사용자가 넣은 주소의 페이지를 기기가 직접 받아 기기 안에서 본문을 추출하며, 개발자 서버를 거치지 않습니다.
3. 앱 사용 통계 (Google Firebase)
앱을 개선하기 위해 Google Firebase Analytics(사용 통계)를 사용합니다. 보내는 것은 어떤 화면을 열었는지, 어떤 기능을 썼는지(예: 변환 완료, 내보내기) 같은 정해진 값과, 앱 버전, 기기 모델·OS 버전, 앱 인스턴스 ID, IP 주소로 추정한 대략적인 위치입니다. 노트의 손글씨·그림·텍스트·사진·태그 내용은 보내지 않습니다. 앱 설정값을 원격으로 바꾸기 위해 Firebase Remote Config도 사용합니다. 오류 보고 도구(Crashlytics)는 사용하지 않습니다. 이 정보는 Google이 처리·보관하며 Google의 서버(국외 포함)에 저장될 수 있습니다. 사용 통계는 Google Analytics의 보존 기간 설정(최대 14개월)에 따라 삭제됩니다. 자세한 내용은 Firebase 개인정보 보호를 참고해 주세요.
4. 광고 (Google AdMob)
앱에는 Google AdMob 광고가 표시됩니다. 노트 목록·설정 화면 아래의 배너 광고, 캔버스를 닫을 때 가끔(2분 이상 간격) 나오는 전체 화면 광고, 다른 앱에 갔다가 돌아올 때 나올 수 있는 전체 화면 광고(앱 오프닝 광고)입니다. 필기하는 캔버스 화면에는 배너를 두지 않습니다. 광고를 제공·측정하고 부정 사용을 막기 위해 Google은 광고 ID, 기기·앱 정보, IP 주소로 추정한 대략적인 위치 같은 정보를 수집·이용할 수 있습니다. 유럽 경제 지역 등 동의가 필요한 지역에서는 처음 실행할 때 동의를 묻고, 설정 › 광고 개인정보 설정에서 언제든 바꿀 수 있습니다. 광고 ID는 Android 설정에서 재설정하거나 삭제할 수 있습니다. 5. 구매 (Google Play 결제)
유료 기능을 구매하면 결제는 Google Play가 처리합니다. 개발자는 카드 번호 같은 결제 정보를 받지 않으며, 구매 여부를 확인하기 위한 구매 기록만 Google Play를 통해 확인합니다. 결제 정보 처리는 Google 개인정보처리방침을 따릅니다.
6. 공유와 붙여넣기
다른 앱에서 Notescape로 공유하거나 사용자가 붙여 넣은 사진·글만 앱이 받습니다. 클립보드를 몰래 읽지 않습니다.
7. 권한
인터넷(웹 글 가져오기, 인식 모델 받기, 광고, 사용 통계)과 광고 ID(광고)를 사용합니다. 사진은 사진·미디어 권한 없이 Android 사진 선택 도구로 사용자가 고른 것만 가져오고, 촬영은 기기의 카메라 앱에 맡기므로 카메라 권한을 요청하지 않습니다. 위치·연락처 권한도 요청하지 않습니다.
8. 보관과 삭제
기기 안의 노트는 사용자가 지우거나 앱을 삭제할 때까지 남습니다. 휴지통에 넣은 노트는 자동으로 지워지지 않습니다. 앱에서 노트를 영구 삭제하거나 휴지통을 비우거나, 앱 데이터 삭제나 앱 제거로 지울 수 있습니다. 개인정보 관련 요청은 아래 이메일로 연락해 주세요.
9. 아동
이 앱은 13세 미만 아동을 주 대상으로 하지 않으며, 아동의 개인정보를 알면서 수집하지 않습니다.

1. What stays on your device
Notescape has no sign-up, no account and no cloud sync. Your handwriting, drawings, the photos, text and web articles you add to notes, your tags and settings are stored only in the app’s private storage on your device. Note content is never sent to a developer server. If Android automatic backup (Google Drive) is turned on for your device, note files may be included in your Google account backup. The only information that leaves your device is for the ads and usage statistics described in sections 3 and 4, and it never includes note content.
2. Conversions and internet use
Converting a photo to ink (turning its color regions into editable vector ink), text to ink (building letter outlines with a handwriting font), and handwriting to text (Google ML Kit handwriting and text recognition) all happen on your device; the photos, text and handwriting you convert never leave it. Handwriting recognition needs an internet connection the first time, to download the recognition model for your language from Google. When you turn a web article into ink, your device fetches the page at the address you entered and extracts the article on the device, without going through a developer server.
3. Usage statistics (Google Firebase)
To improve the app, Notescape uses Google Firebase Analytics. It sends only fixed values such as which screens you open and which features you use (for example, a completed conversion or an export), along with the app version, device model and OS version, app instance ID, and approximate location estimated from the IP address. Your handwriting, drawings, text, photos and tags are never sent. The app also uses Firebase Remote Config to change app settings remotely. It does not use a crash reporting tool (Crashlytics). Google processes and stores this data and may store it on servers outside your country. Usage statistics are deleted according to the Google Analytics retention setting (up to 14 months). 4. Ads (Google AdMob)
The app shows Google AdMob ads: a banner at the bottom of the note list and settings screens, an occasional full-screen ad when you close a canvas (at least two minutes apart), and a full-screen ad that may appear when you return from another app (app open ad). There is no banner on the canvas where you write. To deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud, Google may collect and use information such as the advertising ID, device and app information, and approximate location estimated from the IP address. Where consent is required (for example, in the European Economic Area), the app asks the first time it opens, and you can change your choice anytime in Settings › Ad privacy settings. You can reset or delete the advertising ID in Android settings. No ads are requested for users who bought Pro (one-time purchase). 5. Purchases (Google Play Billing)
If you buy a paid feature, Google Play handles the payment. We never receive payment details such as card numbers; we only check your purchase record through Google Play to unlock the feature. See the Google Privacy Policy.
6. Sharing and pasting
The app only receives photos and text you share to it or paste into it. It does not read your clipboard in the background.
7. Permissions
Internet (web articles, recognition model downloads, ads, usage statistics) and the advertising ID (ads). Photos are added only when you pick them with the Android photo picker, without photo or media permissions, and taking a photo is handed to your camera app, so the app does not request camera permission. It does not request location or contacts permissions.
8. Retention and deletion
Notes on your device stay until you delete them or uninstall the app. Notes in the trash are not deleted automatically. You can delete notes permanently or empty the trash in the app, clear the app’s data, or uninstall it. For privacy requests, contact the email below.
9. Children
The app is not primarily directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect children’s personal information.
