1. 요약
- 회원가입이 없고, 개발자가 운영하는 메모 저장 서버가 없습니다. 개발자는 사용자의 메모·태그·녹음을 받아 보거나 보관하지 않습니다.
- iPhone·iPad·Mac의 무료 버전과 Biscuit Pro 모두 광고가 없습니다. 광고·추적 SDK를 사용하지 않습니다.
2. 메모와 녹음
메모·태그·녹음은 기기의 앱 저장소(앱과 공유 확장이 함께 쓰는 App Group)에 저장됩니다. 설정에서 iCloud 동기화를 켜면 Apple CloudKit의 개인 데이터베이스(본인 iCloud 계정)에 전송되어 같은 Apple 계정의 기기 사이에 동기화됩니다. 이 데이터는 Apple의 개인정보처리방침에 따라 처리되며 개발자는 접근할 수 없습니다.
3. 광고와 추적
비스킷은 광고를 표시하거나 광고 식별자를 수집하지 않습니다. 광고·분석·추적 SDK를 포함하지 않으며, 광고 개인화나 다른 앱·웹사이트에 걸친 추적에 데이터를 사용하지 않습니다.
4. 구매
Biscuit Pro 구독 결제는 Apple이 처리합니다. 개발자는 결제 정보를 받지 않으며, 앱은 StoreKit으로 구독 유효 여부만 확인합니다.
5. 권한과 알림
- 마이크: 녹음을 시작할 때만 요청하고 사용합니다. 녹음 파일은 메모와 함께 기기(및 켜진 경우 iCloud)에 저장됩니다.
- 알림: 허용한 경우에만 기기 안에서 예약하는 로컬 알림(읽지 않은 메모·기록 알림)이며, 메모 제목·본문을 표시하지 않습니다. 원격 알림은 iCloud 변경 알림(내용 없음)에만 씁니다.
- 파일: 사용자가 고른 .txt·.md 파일을 사본으로 가져오며 원본 파일을 바꾸지 않습니다.
6. 보관과 삭제
데이터는 사용자가 삭제할 때까지 기기와 본인 iCloud에 남습니다. 휴지통에서 영구 삭제하면 동기화된 기기에도 삭제가 반영됩니다. 동기화가 꺼진 기기에는 로컬 사본이 남을 수 있습니다. 앱을 삭제하면 기기의 앱 데이터가 지워지며, iCloud 데이터는 iOS 설정 > Apple 계정 > iCloud > 저장 공간 관리에서 지울 수 있습니다.
7. 아동
비스킷은 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며 아동의 개인정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다.

1. Summary
- No sign-up and no developer-run server for notes. The developer does not receive or store your notes, tags or recordings.
- Both the free version and Biscuit Pro are ad-free on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Biscuit does not use advertising or tracking SDKs.
2. Notes and recordings
Notes, tags and recordings are stored on your device (in an App Group shared by the app and its share extension). If you turn on iCloud sync, they are sent to your private Apple CloudKit database and synced between devices on the same Apple Account, under Apple's Privacy Policy. The developer cannot access this data.
3. Advertising and tracking
Biscuit does not show ads or collect advertising identifiers. It includes no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs and does not use data for personalized advertising or tracking across other apps and websites.
4. Purchases
Biscuit Pro payments are processed by Apple. The developer receives no payment details; the app only checks subscription status with StoreKit.
5. Permissions and notifications
- Microphone: requested and used only when you start recording.
- Notifications: optional local reminders scheduled on your device; they never show note titles or text. Remote notifications are used only as content-free iCloud change signals.
- Files: .txt/.md files you pick are imported as copies; originals are not modified.
6. Retention and deletion
Data stays on your device and in your iCloud until you delete it. Deleting a note permanently from the Trash also deletes it on synced devices; a device with sync turned off may keep a local copy. Deleting the app removes its on-device data; iCloud data can be removed in Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Storage.
7. Children
Biscuit is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect children's personal information.
